TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY

 

Standard Equipment Warranty

ModernTech warrants the hardware products it carries against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year (unless specified otherwise) starting from the date of purchase under our Repair Center Service Policy. This warranty is made only to the original consumer (the "Purchaser") and is effective from the date of delivery from ModernTech. The ModernTech invoice number and product serial number should be presented for any warranty claim.

If ModernTech determines that the product is defective in either materials or workmanship, it will, at its option, repair or replace the product.

This warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, or misapplication, or has been modified or repaired without the written permission of ModernTech.

The Manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the product without notice. In no event will the Manufacturer or ModernTech be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or under any legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding the above limitations and warranties, the Manufacturer's liability hereunder for damages incurred by Purchaser or others shall not exceed the amount paid by Purchaser for the particular product involved.

Repair Center Service Policy

Under the Repair Center Service Policy, the Customer will return product to ModernTech for repair. The Customer is responsible to deliver the product to ModernTech's Repair Centre, and pick up the product after it is repaired. Before returning a product for repair, the Customer should contact ModernTech for registration. ModernTech Support will communicate with the Customer to verify whether a Repair Centre Service is necessary, and then issue a RMA number for the return.
